The wart removal session — step by step
Clinical assessment
Dr. Nick examines the wart under magnification to confirm diagnosis and measure size, depth and extent of the lesion.
Anaesthesia
Topical numbing cream (EMLA or equivalent) is applied 30–45 minutes before treatment.
Laser treatment
The selected laser is applied to the wart. For Nd:YAG, the handpiece moves over the area; for Er:YAG, precise pulses ablate each layer. Treatment takes 10–20 minutes per wart.
Post-treatment dressing
A light dressing is applied. Written aftercare instructions are provided.
Follow-up
Dr. Nick reviews progress at the next session or via a follow-up call to assess response and plan any additional sessions.
