Lumecca uses broad-spectrum light to target melanin and haemoglobin. Controlled heat breaks down pigmentation and reduces visible vessels, with settings tailored to your skin type and concern.
What is Lumecca® IPL, and how does it work?
Lumecca® is an advanced intense pulsed light treatment by InMode®, used to improve selected pigmentation and vascular concerns. Unlike a laser, IPL delivers a broad spectrum of light that is absorbed by melanin in pigmentation and haemoglobin in visible blood vessels.
This light generates controlled heat within the targeted pigment or vessel. Treated pigmentation may darken temporarily before gradually fading or flaking, while targeted superficial vessels can become less visible over time.
Lumecca Peak delivers high peak power with integrated sapphire cooling. Some patients notice improvement after one treatment, although a course of approximately 1–3 sessions may be recommended depending on the concern, skin type and individual response.

Treatment
A cool gel is applied and the handpiece delivers pulses of light; the sapphire tip keeps it comfortable. Sessions take 30–60 minutes.
Aftercare
Pigment may darken then flake away over 1–2 weeks. Slight redness settles within hours to a day; use high-SPF sunscreen and avoid sun.
Results
Many notice a difference after the first session, with optimal results over a short course of 1–3 treatments.
