Standard lipsomes are suspended in water. In theory the lipsomes encapsulates the desired product protecting it and enabling higher/increased bioaavailability. Over a short period of time the encapsulated product will fall out of the liposomal encapsulation and be degraded in the water solution.
How are standard lipsomes mode. The desired product is placed in water and a small amount of a phospholipid is added to the water and subjected to a Sonification. The sonification reduces the particle size of the solid product and the frequency of the sonification encapsulates the particles in the phospholipid. The liposomal product is suspended in water.
How are our High Stability Liposomes Produced: We use very high shear subjecting the particles up to 40,000 psi. This high shear reduce the particle size and incapsulates the particles in uniformly dispersed liposomes. The narrow particle size distribution of liposomes ensure uniform size and high bioaavailability. The oil-based suspension (MCT Oil, Sweet Almond Oil) protects the liposomes keeps them stable for 24 months.
